This page documents how Servvo obtains consent before sending any SMS message, and explains your rights as a recipient.
Servvo is a mobile marketplace connecting service professionals (landscapers, cleaners, pool technicians, and others) with their clients. SMS messages are sent only when a service provider explicitly invites a client to the Servvo platform by entering their phone number and tapping "Send Invite" inside the app.
No SMS message is ever sent automatically, in bulk, or without a provider deliberately initiating the action for a specific, named client with whom they have an existing business relationship.
Opt-in type: Provider-initiated invitation on behalf of a client with a pre-existing business relationship. The opt-in action is explicit and deliberate — the provider enters the phone number and taps a labeled "Send Invite" button.
The following screenshots illustrate the exact steps a service provider takes to invite a client via SMS. Each step requires a deliberate action.
Provider opens the Clients section and taps "Add Client." They enter the client's name and phone number — this is the client they already work with.
Before sending, the provider sees a confirmation screen clearly stating an SMS will be sent, and a consent notice visible prior to the action.
The client receives a single invitation SMS. The message includes the opt-out instruction (STOP) and the message and data rates disclosure.
Replying STOP immediately unsubscribes the recipient. They receive a confirmation and no further SMS messages are sent.

How opt-in works: A service provider with a pre-existing business relationship enters the recipient's phone number in the Servvo iOS app and explicitly taps "Send Invite." The recipient is the provider's existing client. No SMS is sent without this deliberate provider action.
Types of messages: Service invitations, account alerts, invoice notifications, and service status updates.
Message frequency: Message frequency varies. Typically one invitation message per provider relationship, plus transactional notifications when services are scheduled, completed, or invoiced.

Opt-out: Reply STOP to any SMS message to unsubscribe immediately. You will receive one confirmation message. No further messages will be sent.
